What is the Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Challenge?

January 22-29, 2012

Suits and Sneakers is a nationwide annual event in which coaches across the country unite for a common cause-fighting cancer! During the week, coaches and their staff are encouraged to wear sneakers with their suits on game days to:

  • Raise awareness about the fight against cancer.
  • Share the importance of nutrition and physical activity in reducing one's risk of the disease.
  • Promote the American Cancer Society as a place for people facing cancer to turn 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Want to Get Involved?

Take the Suits and Sneakers Corporate Challenge!  The National Suits and Sneakers Event challenges worksites of all sizes, and basketball fans across the nation to participate. Join your co-workers, friends and favorite teams in the fight against cancer. Talk to your boss about declaring a Suits and Sneakers Day at work. Individuals make a donation to Coaches vs. Cancer for the oportunity to wear sneakers to work for a day (January 23-29). All donations will go directly to cancer research. Sign up your business to Team up against Cancer!
